hello everybody.

hope i am posting in the good section, this board is awesome and so big !!!

so,
we are a bunch of passionate people and we are editing on our own a comic book, since 3 years now.

here is the pitch :

"SHAANGO is the first LOS BRIGNOLES EDITIONS comic book. Created by KADE, TIR and JAC, graphically inspired by American comic books standards, SHAANGO is unconventional on its message and its form. Ishan, its hero, he’s lost in his doubts, his fears and his feelings, he has to take on a gift (a supernatural power) that he doesn’t understand. His power comes from African roots which he’s not aware of. It’s a shock for our misunderstood hero. City atmosphere and dark surroundings, reflecting French suburbs, are the comic book setting. Shaango is a modern and urban version of a Yoruba myth which already inspired Aimé Césaire for his play “La tragédie du Roi Christophe”. Shaango displays an ancestral past around an African God of thunder and storm… SHAANGO episode 1, “Born under lightning”, came out December 15th 2006. Ishan Goran is a youth worker. Following an ID check where the police had made a serious blunder, Ishan discovers he has the power to throw lightning. Should he use his power to punish? to protect? To take action?"
