Raina and I got engaged!
I had been working on a comic about our relationship secretely for the past 2 weeks. I gave it to her on the plane ride to San Francisco. And once we were around the middle of the country, I finally showed her the work in progress. The story only went to page 5 and ended with an elipse. So once she got to that part was when I actually asked her to marry me in real life. Then later I drew one more panel and then let Raina finish the rest of the story.
so yeah, it's awesome. javascript:emoticon(' ') _________________

WOWZERS! Congrats you two.
Your comic is both amazing and inspiring...the way two people can completely compliment each other...thanks for sharing your story and showing that these relationships do exist!
Me and my husband just celebrated our 5 year anniversary last week and life has only gotten better! I wish you all the same happiness!

You made me cry, Dave Roman!
Congratulations! (Uh, on the engagement, not making me cry.)
My favorite line was: "They both had tons of each other's socks. So eventually they just moved in together." (Wait, is that two lines?)
All the best, you two! _________________ http://www.jtorresonline.com |

| The halloween panel reminded me that was the first time I met you Dave! You and John were Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, it was quite perfect. Raina was an awesome Strawberry Shortcake. That was a pretty cool halloween, but from what I recall that was the year that I dropped the ball on my own costume... |

I'm so happy for you guys! For some reason though I thought Michele would get married first and that Dan would father the first child but for all I know he could have already.
Let me know if you'll be back out here in MA again, if not I'll see you at a holiday near you. |

Now I am patiently waiting for the angry and bitter "How We Got Divorced" continuation of this comic strip - some exaggerated female nudity would be much appreciated! |

Wow, that's pessimistic!
How about a "How we lived happily ever after" instead? |
