Brownies are good, but recently, I recieved Cookies that are outstanding. Simple the best. That is that.

you think my mom makes good cookies, wait till you have her brownies (well, blonde brownies... they're made with brown sugar... mmmm). They are even more awesome.

tell me if you think i'm weird... i think the best part of making brownies is always the outside edge. i dont know why, but the outer part tastes better, because its just the slightest bit more cooked than the rest of the brownie, and its a little harder. while i'll go for the moist middle anyday, if you throw away the burnt edges, i will beat you with a red herring.

nope, I hate the edges. even if there's a fresh batch of brownies, I'll dig out the center pieces first.... and usually get in trouble for doing just that.

the best part is, my mom always uses small square pans (like 9" x 9") and she overcooks them... so its brownie heaven for me. Laughing
