| Hey, guys and/or gals! This is the forum of the comic On The Playground. If you want, you can say something about the comic here in this topic (or in any other topic you choose to make - you got the power). Enjoy. |

Yes! Finally, I've found another comic here that seems to match up with my own! You know how hard it is to find cartoons based around kids under 12? Besides ours?
Anyway, I'm enjoying OTP quite a bit, and I'm even occasionally getting jealous because you've used jokes I would have loved to have used myself...now it'd just feel like stealing |

Oops! Probably should have made an account here BEFORE I replied...oh well. Still think OTP is one to come back to! _________________ Remember when your imagination was real? When the day seemed

This is one of the better strips I have seen in a while. It's good to see a comic that doesn't rely on beer, videogames, and babes to sell it. With that said i think the character art seems a bit stiff. Try to make the poses look a bit more natural.
There seems to be a big audience for these kinds of things that are getting turned off of webcomics because of comics like mentioned above. I think it would be a good idea if we started a group like "hot bullet press" but for comics like ours. *(Dutch you can come too ) . I'm getting my keenspace account next week so I will have my comic up and running soon. Since were both pretty new comics I think it would help us both. _________________

Okay...I'm in then...I'll keep my ears open on this one.
Oh, and Jigglyman, I loved the philosophical maths homework questions! _________________ Remember when your imagination was real? When the day seemed

That is a good idea.
We could call it "The ****ing Best **** Comics Group."
By the way, bwM, I really like where your comic is going, even only after two strips. Two and a half thumbs up, and maybe a coupla index fingers here and there. |

Now we just got to figure out two things. How were going to go about doing this (were all keenspace hosted so none us could really host anything), and we got to come up with an awesome name .
Glad too see you like my comic too. It's good that if we do something like this that we'd be fans of the others comics. _________________

Hey, no worries. We can just go what quicksketch does... have the group page as a part os a person's site.
But we need something that'll capture both foxes and schoolchildren in the same title... how about "Fox 'n Schoolchildren Press?" Man, that's catchy. |

Jigglyman,
I REALLY enjoy "on the playground". If I had to guess, you must be on the younger side of 15 simply because I've read MANY other strips that took a stab at kid's humor. You have a familiar sense of the world through very young eyes, which means you're young enough to remember details...accurately. Very sophisticated, very funny. I'm imagining a new character named Cassie. She has calico hair. She doesn't say much at all but hangs out at the playground with EVERYONE all the time. Her younger sister MeeMee doesn't miss a thing. |

If you need hosting, I might be able to help you. I own a domain and space (not related to comics, though, but anyway, you could have a subdomain) |
