So this is going back ages, it seems. But here's the background in it's rough form. Only 2 of the 3 panels are attached at this point. I have pics of the standees in various stages of assembly, but I'm too lazy to add them right now.

The AL standee, source of many many nightmares...

Here it is, dress rehearsal time. The signs haven't been attached, since they're actually higher than the top of the frame, and considerably higher than our meager ceiling. The spider-body seems a bit out of place to me, since it's just a blown up version of the little one we did last year. I did it first, and I wish I hadn't. I really wish I'd used the art from the book cover for it, like I did with Steve and AL. Oh well, gonna be new stuff for next year anyway.

All that packed down into this little pile...

Note, the rest of the apartment looked even worse by that point. We're still slowly catching up.

And here it is fully assembled at last. Kyle and Steve are more or less minding the shop. As I mentioned in another post, that Skull Panda banner from http://www.samandfuzzy.com/ was fantastic. It wasn't drawn, it was made up of cut up bits of black leather-stuff. Very cool.

Bizzarely enough, the panda on the table got more attention than the background. Next year, we'll have some of those bad boys for sale.

Around the corner, the Dayfree guys did brisk business. These guys rocked, and I'm looking forward to seeing them again next year. I really should have taken more and better pictures than this. I kinda forgot about the camera for most of the con.

I have no idea who this guy is, but that shirt is awesome.

And in the end, whilst closing shop, the Dumbrella gang revealed their true agenda...

I knew it all along.

Wow! I wish I could have gone, but alas, I was in Florida at the time. Oh, if you're going to make a new standee for next con, you guys should totally ebay this one! It's amazing!!

Perhaps Eric will consider it next year... that is, of course, as long as next year's standee withstands the humidity in transit. Heh.

For real though, folks, these pictures don't do it justice. That thing was an impressive albatross. Those of you who missed it are fools! FOOLS!

The spider body one is definately a candidate for ebayance. It looks decent enough, really, but it's WAY too fragile to be carted around on a regular basis. Plus it kept getting kicked, and it wasn't taking that well.

If there's enough of a demand for that sort of thing, I'll certainly consider doing it.

Looks like it was fun! The booth looked awesome! I can see why everyone wanted one of thos epandas with goggles. I am now considering digging through my bears to find one I can alter.

Have we seen all of those characters? I don't recall at least 2 of them at all. Must reread archives....

Well, you might want to start by reading the archives at Jonny Crossbones and Brainwrap Comics, lest you go insane that they're nowhere to be found at Radioactive Panda.

Just a friendly suggestion! Wink

If I do get rid of it, it'll likely be via ebay. I need the cash :P

But the violence is appreciated.

What are you? Ricky Henderson?

Stop referring to yourself in the third person!

Ricky Henderson does what Ricky Henderson feels is the best for Ricky Henderson. And shut the hell up Kyle. *kick*

*glares at Eric* But I'm poor! Also, it's almost August, where's my Al & Mini-Als drawing! *kicks Kyle again*
